Virtual reality- a baffled technology

Moving forward towards the charismatic vision of technology, I am signing in for one of craziest keynote in today's date i.e. virtual reality.
Well, the first query struck our wit is, what does it actually mean? We are very accustomed with the concept of 3D environment as we have already knocked the door of object manipulation, lighting and occlusion and so forth. When this 3D environment interacts with a real or physical way by a electronic equipment, the user in one hand can erect a virtual world of it's own where he can discern the scenarios being controlled and navigated by him. Quite riveting to ears! 
As the technology is kinetic every instant at a blazing speed, anyone can assuredly foresee this sort of automation on a routine. It has got a numerous of applications like in the field of military, education, scientific visualisation, telecommunication, construction work and the catalogue rolls on. 
Being a student of engineering, I would like to underline the relevance in the sphere of engineering curriculum. Virtual reality concept plays a vital character in the project work dealing with 3D modeling tools and visualisation proficiency as a part of design process. It enables engineers to gain a better understanding of their project at every axes. It depicts fine grained details of a product to maintain an illusion with high end graphics, refresh realistic sound and movement.
We can have a overlook at this technology seen at the JLR virtual reality centre in UK with the advanced tracking and projection facility which can extend it's rays in the next generation of land rovers.
Technology, a minute word but a gigantic passion. We all are here in the present century of lifting minds, chasing caliberity and advanced cohorts.

One stormy excerpt

People, they say are a menace, perhaps true.
